Simone Alanne is responsible for Sales Operations at Assenagon. As such she is the contact person for fund platforms, data providers and distribution partners. In addition, she controls the entire retrocession process for the Assenagon funds. A holder of a degree in Business Administration, she worked in various departments of Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (UniCredit Group) from 1997 to January 2008. Most recently she worked as Senior Sales Manager for the departments of Brokerage, Clearing and Custody of the UniCredit Division of Markets & Investment Banking, where she was in charge of security trading and investment firms. She also collaborated on the construction of a service platform for German Hedge Funds.

Hans Günther Bonk is founding partner of Assenagon. As managing director, he is responsible for business planning, strategy development, sales and public relations. He studied Business Administration and earned an MBA in Finance at the University of Chicago. Until March 2007 he was a Divisional Board Member at the Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (UniCredit Group), responsible for sales to financial institutions. In addition, he served as Chairman of the Administrative Board of HVB Structured Invest S.A. and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of INDEXCHANGE Investment AG. INDEXCHANGE Investment AG was founded by Vassilios Pappas and Hans Günther Bonk on behalf of HVB in 2000. Both were managing the INDEXCHANGE Investment AG until its sale to Barclays in 2007.

Michael Huber works in the Sales Department of Assenagon where he serves clients from fund of funds, family offices, private banks and asset management. Following his university education of Finance & Information Management, he worked for Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management in Frankfurt. Michael Huber has broad-based knowledge of structured investment solutions and is co-author of the book "Zertifikate spielend beherrschen" (FinanzBuch Verlag, 2009). He gathered early experiences in the international finance industry during traineeships at Allianz Global Investors, RCM Capital Management and McKinsey.

Ronald Ulf Siebel is Managing Director of Assenagon GmbH, Assenagon Client Service GmbH and Manager of Assenagon Asset Management S.A., Munich Branch. In his function he is responsible for dealing with institutional investors. Until December 2007 the trained tax lawyer and banker was in charge of financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, asset managers, pension funds, public sector) for UniCredit Group´s Markets & Investment Banking Division. At Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG he headed Fixed Income/FX Sales. Prior to that, he was Head of Capital Markets at Bayerische Vereinsbank AG. From 2002 to 2008 he was a member of parliament of the protestant church of Bavaria and a representative on the finance committee.

Marcus Steudner is jointly responsible for the Product Management Division at Assenagon. In addition to the customer coverage for Assenagon's white label mandates, the development of mutual funds and specialised funds he is in charge with the implementation of regulatory requirements. He studied Finance & Information Management at the Technical University of Munich and the University of Augsburg from where he received a Master of Science degree (with honours). He took courses at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the Tongji University of Shanghai. He gained valuable experience in the financial industry during an internship at Goldman Sachs and a banking project with IBM Global Business Services.

Benedikt Hager works in the Division of Product Management at Assenagon where his responsibilities include customer coverage of white-label fund mandates, development and implementation of innovative fund concepts, collaboration on regulatory, contract, and tax law structures of Assenagon funds, and coordinating the implementation of new regulatory requirements. Before joining Assenagon, he studied Investments & Corporate Finance at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel where he graduated Master of Science in Finance and was recognized with the "Award for Student Leadership 2011" by the alumni association. Throughout different activities at Citigroup Smith Barney, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Sal. Oppenheim he gathered valuable experience in the financial sector.

Martin Weithofer is Managing Director of Assenagon GmbH, Assenagon Client Service GmbH and Manager of Assenagon Asset Management S.A., Munich Branch. In this function he is responsible for sales and customer service. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago GSB. Until 2008 he worked as Managing Director in the Markets & Investment Banking Division of Bayerische Hypo- und Vereinsbank AG (UniCredit Group). He built up the business area of structured investment products and was responsible for certificates and structured funds in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. His area of responsibility included customer coverage of distribution partners, marketing, product support and representation in the industry associations. In his role, he was member of the Board of the German derivatives associations, Derivate Forum and Deutscher Derivate Verband, where he actively helped set industry-wide market standards in different working groups. His professional career began as a product developer at HVB.

Stefanie Grüner is jointly responsible for the Division Product Management. Her responsibilites include the development and design of fund structures for institutional clients under consideration of banking and insurance regulation, accounting and taxation. Beyond that she is responsible for regulatory affairs related to the German-based Assenagon entities. In 2006, she started her career at UniCredit Group in the division Markets & Investment Banking, working on the optimisation of structured products and SPV transactions under regulatory, accounting and tax aspects. Stefanie Grüner studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in finance and taxation.
