Emerging Markets
Emerging markets are countries that are in a process of growth or catching up, often accompanied by political and economic changes.
EPS
Earnings per share. The proportion of a company's profit per share issued.
Equity fund
Equity funds are investment funds that invest mainly in shares of listed companies. The unit holders of an equity fund thus indirectly participate in a large number of corporations. You can find the overview of Assenagon equity funds here.
Equity index
A stock index is an indicator of the average price performance of a basket of stocks representing a region, a theme, or a specific industry.
ESG
ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance. For detailed information on the topic ESG please see here. ESG funds are classified according to the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Short for "Exchange-traded funds", i. e. exchange-traded investment funds. ETFs usually track an index (e.g. DAX®).
ETP
Short for "Exchange-traded product", i. e. securities that track underlying securities, indicies or other financial assets
EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation
The EU Regulation on the disclosure of information by financial market participants on the sustainability of their investment decisions (EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation) entered into force on 10 March 2021. The regulation regulates the disclosure obligations of financial service providers (such as fund companies) regarding the consideration of sustainability issues in their investment strategies and investment processes. In addition to publications on the website of the financial service provider, the regulation also deals with publications in pre-contractual information (e.g. fund prospectuses) and regular reports (e.g. annual reports). The classification system contains a rough distinction according to the degree of inclusion of sustainability aspects:
Article 6 funds

Event Driven
An investment strategy that aims to exploit pricing inefficiencies that may occur before or after a corporate event (e.g. an acquisition, merger, bankruptcy or spin-off).
