Management fee

The management fee is the fixed annual fee that investors pay to have their assets in an investment fund managed by a specialist fund manager.

Market capitalisation

The market capitalisation of a company is calculated by multiplying the number of shares in circulation by the price per share and represents the current equity value. Shares are often divided into three categories according to the different market capitalisation definitions:

  • Large Cap: companies with a high market capitalisation
  • Mid Cap: companies with a medium market capitalisation
  • Small Cap: companies with a small market capitalisationung
Market liquidity

Describes the degree of availability of securities. The higher the liquidity of a market/security, the more active buyers and sellers there are, resulting in improved price discovery, cost efficiency and faster availabilities.

Maximum Drawdown

The largest temporary loss of a fund measured from the local or global high to its low.

Money market fund

Money market funds invest predominantly in money market instruments and other fixed income securities with a short fixed-interest period.

Multi-Asset

Mutual funds (open-ended)
